This site is dedicated to the memory of Ken Court.

My Dad Ken, was one of the kindest and most un-assuming people you could ever wish to meet. His sense of humour was legendary, never happier than when he came out with his witty one liners. He was the perfect father and grandfather, always taking time to play with me as a child and spent many a happy hour making up games with our daughter emily (she really misses her poppy). My Dads real passion was his woodwork, the pride he had in showing people his many intricate creations was immense (we still have them all to this day). Married for over forty years to my Mum Liz, they dealt with all the trials and tribulations that life can throw at you as a loving partnership, making many good friends along the way. There's not a day goes by that Mum doesn't mention him. As an adult my relationship with Dad was closer than ever, there was nothing we couldn't talk about and laugh about. When he was diagnosed with Lung Cancer we were utterly devastated, even then he remained brave, "keep your chin up" was his stock phrase. He passed away 3rd of May 2005 We miss his laughter, his kindness, his calm reflective outlook. A much loved Father, Grandfather and Husband.
